Batson River is brewing up authentic German-style beers all month long

…in celebration of Oktoberfest happenings in southern Maine. While all will be available throughout the month, we’re choosing to highlight a beer each week online paying homage to the amazing brewing team and industry behind it.  This week’s Oktoberfest Beer of the Week: Dunkles Bock! Coming in at 6.7% ABV

Grains: Barke Munich, Barke Vienna, Melanoiden, Carafa II, Caramunich 3. Hops: Saphir

Our Batson River brewing team is proud to brew Dunkles Bock, a Malt-forward lager that is rich and strong without being cloying or heavy. Not a traditional Oktoberfest style, but an awesome German style nonetheless.
